I've been working on an informal playlist, tentatively entitled 'Don't get run over while walking in NYC'. I've found this absolutely necessary for survival, especially because I'm a country->city transplant. I chose these songs for their "NYC speed" beat.
Soft rock, classical and down-tempo songs are right out. If you're listening to this stuff you will get crowded, squashed against a wall and then trampled into a gutter before you can sing any 3 notes from the Beatles. I hope you find this useful if you're in the area!
(All links are YouTube, sorry)
Royksopp- Vision One
White Rabbits- Percussion Gun
Ke$ha- Tik Tok, VIP, Boots and Boys
La Roux- In For The Kill, Bulletproof, I'm Not Your Toy, As If By Magic
Muse- Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole
Keane- Crystal Ball
Jake Shimabukuro- Pink Panther
Coldplay- Lovers in Japan
Assemblage 23- Spark
Let me know if any of the links are broken.
(Apologies for the lack of fiber)
Do you have a lifesaving playlist?

In lieu of an actual post, I give you:
Shaun the Sheep!
Sorry about the low quality, it's all I could find. Netflix has a whole bunch of Shaun available instantly. Very addicting. Not so great as knitting tv, because there are no words.
All my projects are being secretive at the moment, mostly because I'm waiting for parts to arrive. All that will have to wait for the time being, as I'm off to visit family and friends for a week in the Great White North. Maybe, if you're really lucky, I'll send you pictures of snow.
